As part of the 2nd Turkish-German Criminal Law Symposium, held in Göttingen, Germany, from 14 to 18 October 2024 and hosted by Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, the topic “The Commission of the Crime of Financing Terrorism Using Public Officials” was examined; the role of public officials in the crime of financing terrorism, the criminal liability that may arise in this context, and international cooperation mechanisms were discussed.
