As part of a conference held on 26 March 2026 at the Faculty of Law, Yeditepe University, the topic “A Precedent from the Perspective of Enemy Criminal Law: Enforced Disappearance” was discussed. The conference assessed the place of the act of enforced disappearance within the framework of enemy criminal law theory, its impact on fundamental rights and freedoms, and the consequences it entails under international human rights law.
