As part of the Maritime & Insurance Law Seminar hosted by the University of Reading on 19 May 2026, the topic “Criminal Liability of the Shipmaster in Collisions at Sea” was discussed; criminal liability arising from maritime accidents was examined from the perspectives of Turkish and English law.
